Permaculture Marin envisions healthy communities where people live in restorative relationships with the land and with each other, thereby assuring an abundant life for both present and future generations.
MISSION
Our mission is to collaborate with local communities to teach and apply the principles and practices of permaculture as a means of furthering the development of regenerative ecologies, economies and communities.
In this spirit, our goals are:
– to create a network of working permaculture sites
– to sponsor community events and work days
– to offer educational opportunities
– to create shared space (garden, gathering or otherwise)
– to foster a deeper connection to the land, to each other and to our communities
– to contribute to the formation of creative, cooperative and abundant communities
– to collectively strengthen our skills as permaculture designers and consultants
