In Gratitude
In the fall of 2008, and again in 2009,we were honored to receive a grant from The Lia Fund, a foundation in Point Reyes Station. We are using the grant money to complete our website, purchase the tools we need to implement community projects and educational events, build a library of reference books and educational films, help us secure a meeting space for educational events and monthly meetings, and assist with administrative and public relations expenses. In addition, we will use some of the funds to contribute to demonstration gardens that meet the goals of Permaculture Marin as an educational and community-building organization.
