Currently Permaculture Marin is not actively operating, so we are in the process of determining how best to donate the tools and resources that we built over the 3 years that we were active.
In Gratitude
In the fall of 2008, and again in 2009,we were honored to receive a grant from The Lia Fund, a foundation in Point Reyes Station. We used the grant money to complete our website, purchase the tools to implement community projects and educational events, build a library of reference books and educational films, help us secure a meeting space for educational events and monthly meetings, and assist with administrative and public relations expenses. In addition, we used some of the funds to contribute to demonstration gardens that met the goals of Permaculture Marin as an educational and community-building organization.
